Second Class Citizen
An Underdog Story.
Our organization is built and led by former combat arms and special operations personnel, with some highly dedicated volunteers who have stood by us for years now. I am a U.S. Army Airborne Ranger and Green Beret, a veteran of three wars, and wounded in two. My team and I have spent the past 18 years reaching the veterans most likely to fall through the cracks of conventional services — the men who will never walk into a counseling office, but who will watch a brutally honest video at 2 a.m. and find a reason to stay alive.
We have done this entirely on small private donations and our own money and time, without salary, and without public recognition. Over the years we have actively assisted veterans and others through family related matters directly linked to their PTSD — at no charge, with no expectation of compensation or acknowledgment. That is the nature of this organization. It has always been the nature of our organization.
